Tickle, Net, Repeat—Lobster Diving the Key West Way
Lobster diving (or “bug hunting”) is a Florida Keys classic, especially during the July mini-season and the regular season from August to March. It’s all about finding the right rocky ledges, coral holes, and sea fans where spiny lobsters hide, then carefully grabbing them with a net and tickle stick. It’s active, hands-on, and always exciting when you come up with a tail in hand!
